The unrivalled reputation of DJ Newman Joinery has been built on our commitment to provide a first-class product and a great service to our customers.  We are very proud to be members of the British Woodworking Federation and to have been accredited as meeting their Code of Conduct standards.  Our investment in state-of-the-art computerised machinery also means that we can produce products in full compliance with PAS 24 and Part Q of The Building Regulations.  Further details of these accreditations can be found by clicking here: Accreditations.

Our Commitment to the Environment

DJ Newman Joinery is committed to minimising our impact on the environment.  We only use the finest hardwood and softwood supplied from top-quality merchants that are committed to providing timber from sustainable managed forests.  We avoid using solvent-based paints and varnishes; unless otherwise specified by the customer, our spray shop uses water-based paints or stains.  And all our waste wood is reused, solid waste being used as fuel and shavings used as animal bedding.  More importantly, the material that we use, wood, is in itself environmentally friendly.  Wood is a product of trees that absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen thus helping reverse some of the causes of global warming generated by its alternative, plastic or aluminium. Our Warranties

DJ Newman Joinery is committed to producing the highest quality joinery product.  We take the utmost care to produce exactly the items you require and we take great pride in our workmanship.  We know that you will want your purchase to last a very long time and, to that end, we offer you advice as to how to properly maintain the product, whether this is delivered to you in a fully-painted, stained or varnished finish.

Whilst it is not possible to offer limitless warranties, we will undertake any minor repair works within the first year,  Wood is a natural product and the effect of the material swelling or contracting whilst it adjusts to its new environment can occasionally cause items to stick slightly. We will be only too happy to remedy these sort of problems.  For our full warranty terms, please click here: DJN Guarantees (88 KB)

Our Terms & Conditions

We at DJ Newman Joinery aim to be as accommodating as possible.  However, it is important that you carefully review any quotation we provide, especially to satisfy yourself that we have accurately reflected your wishes.  Please remember that we are always available to discuss these with you.  It is much better to identify any issues before we go into production as the cost of rectification after the wood has been machined can be expensive.  For our complete Terms & Conditions, please click here: DJN Terms & Conditions (879 KB)

Our Complaints Procedure

We strive to always provide the best service and the finest products for our customers. However, in the hopefully unlikely event that any customer remains dissatisfied, we have a structured complaints procedure to ensure that we do everything possible to rectify any failings in the quality of our work.
